Cei de la Sleek vin mereu cu palete noi, iar de data aceasta mi-a atras atentia
Respect, din colectia Shangri-la. Imi place mult tema muzicala, toate nuantele avand nume care sa duca cu gandul la muzica anilor 60. Ah, era sa uit, e editie limitata :D.
Sleek MakeUp always comes out with new palettes and this time Respect, from the Shangri-la collection, caught my eyes. I love the musical theme, every shade has a specific name that evokes the music from the 60’s. Oh, and it’s limited edition :D.
Ambalajul este simplu, solid, la fel ca restul paletelor de la Sleek. Pastilutele de fard sunt presate, respectand noua politica. Are un mix de nuante metalice si nuante mate, lucru care e intotdeauna bun pentru ca poti sa le combini in nenumarate look-uri. Are nuante pentru highlight si un negru, ceea ce o face foarte potrivita de luat in calatorii pentru nu mai aveti nevoie de farduri suplimentare.
The packaging is simple and sturdy, like the rest of the Sleek palettes. The eye-shadows are pressed, following the new Sleek policy. It has a mix of metallic and matte shades, which is always good because you can combine them and do more looks. It has highlighting shades and a black color, making it practical for traveling.

Sleek Ultra Matte Darks . Nu sunt identice, dar sunt destul de asemanatoare. Ma refer aici la
Shalamar,
Vandellas si
Count Basi Beige. De asemenea, spre deosebire de alte palete Sleek, aici nu toate culorile au acelasi grad de pigmentare. Nuantele deschise sunt destul de sheer si trebuiesc adaugate in mai multe straturi pentru a se vedea intens. Fardurile mate sunt prafoase, dar nu am avut probleme cu fallout-ul. Nuantele din capatul paletei, insa, merita toti banii. Sunt absolut superbe, perfecte pentru primavara/vara. Sunt foarte pigmentate si vibrante si se potrivesc tuturor nuantelor de ochi.
You can find some of the shades, and I’m not talking about the black and white, in the Sleek Ultra Matte Darks palette. They’re not identical but quite similar. I’m referring to Shalamar, Vandellas and Count Basi Beige. Also, unlike other Sleek palettes, not all colors have the same degree of pigmentation. The lighter shades are quite sheer and must be added in multiple layers to appear more intense. The matte eye-shadows are chalky, but I had no problems with fallout. The bright colors from the end of the palette are worth every cent. They’re absolutely gorgeous, perfect for spring/summer. They are very pigmented and vibrant and suit all eye shades.

E foarte frumoasa paletuta! Sunt tentata sa o cumpar, insa nu ma pot decide intre V2 si ea. Tu ce imi recomanzi?
Daca ar trebui neaparat sa aleg una, as merge pe V2, dar depinde de preferintele tale. V2 are in exclusivitate farduri mate, respect are si farduri sidefate. In V2 sunt nuante inchise, aici ai si nuantele alea de orange si roz. Pup!
