I’ve prepared my last Holiday look for this year, the one I’m suggesting for New Year’s Eve, but I’ll post it tomorrow. Today I want to show something different: my resolutions for the new year, in a different format. I really wanted an inspiration board and I got one as a gift from my parents. I pinned various quotes and pictures to it that inspire and guide me.
The center piece portraits my love for music and my belief that it speaks to the heart. That’s why I put a picture of Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson next to it ♥. You can also see images and quotes of Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee ’cause I’m a fighter at heart ☺ and I admire both of them. At the bottom is a picture of Marilyn Monroe who, in my opinion, is a symbol of beauty and sensuality and on the left, a native american headdress that expresses courage, honor and leadership.

Don’t strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt.* Choose the positive. You have choice, you are master of your attitude. Choose the positive, the constructive. Optimism is a faith that leads to success.* People will stare. Make it worth their while.* Never let success get to your head. Never let failure get to your heart.* Impossible is nothing.* Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you or makes you happy.* Notice that the stiffest trees are most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending with the wind.* Dreams don’t work unless you do.* Laugh like you’re 10, party like you’re 20, travel like you’re 30, think like you’re 40, advise like you’re 50, care like you’re 60, love like you’re70.* If people are trying to bring you down it only means you are above them.* Comparison is the thief of joy.* Make yourself proud.
